I have noticed that the “default” persons is a sneaky little devil. That base program wants to stay relevant, it wants to keep you safe.
I find myself slipping into my default persona almost unaware. It feels like a natural resting place. I don’t have to present or conscious with it – which takes some effort.
The practice presented on Day 13 reminds of the idea of quantum jumping by Burt Goldman. Burt Goldman basically used the Silva Method of self-hypnosis to tap into what he considered were other versions of himself and to bring in those talents and abilities into his current life.
Interesting stuff.
I came across the Silva Method in the early 2000s and never considered using it for something like that. It’s a neat idea. Now that I know that is a possibility, mayhap I should try it. My invented self thinks that might be fun…
